FOG ISLAND, Maine (AP) _ Authorities are searching for a Canadian man who disappeared while kayaking in Maine.
U.S. Coast Guard officials say 45-year-old Tony Cashman of Ontario, Canada, was part of a group of six people kayaking from Isle Au Haut to Marshall Island on Saturday. The rest of the group made it to Marshall Island but couldn't find Cashman, who was last seen around noon near Fog Island.
The Coast Guard sent a helicopter from Massachusetts, a lifeboat and a cutter to search by air and sea. Rescue crews, including Maine Marine Patrol, searched overnight and continued searching Sunday morning.
