Boyfriend Located in Maine Hit, Run Case

LEWISTON, Maine - Authorities say they have located a man for questioning in the case of a pregnant woman who was struck and killed by a sport utility vehicle in Lewiston.

State police and Lewiston police say 32-year-old Laudrinha Kubeloso was fatally injured Tuesday afternoon. She was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

She was four months pregnant and had moved from Angola to Lewiston during the past year.

Authorities say Kubeloso's boyfriend, a 33-year-old Evaristo Deus of Lewiston, is believed to have been the driver of the blue 2001 Suzuki SUV that struck her. They say he was found out of state and is being held by a law enforcement agency. The SUV has not been located.
