BIDDEFORD, Maine - A Biddeford, Maine architectural firm won a $10 million Navy contract to design and engineer improvements to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery and other Navy facilities.
The Portland Press Herald reports Oak Point Associates will improve buildings at the naval yard and improve their energy efficiency. The firm's first job will be to repair and improve three buildings at the Kittery facility. That job will cost $800,000.
The firm is slated to do other projects throughout the mid-Atlantic states.
