OXFORD, Maine — Police say two teenagers trick-or-treating in Maine were hospitalized after one of them was hit by a car.
The Portland Press Herald reports a 15-year-old boy was crossing Pottle Road in Oxford when he was struck by the vehicle on Saturday night in Oxford.
The impact pushed the boy into a 14-year-old girl who was with him. They were both taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Police say two drivers were approaching each other on the road and their headlights may have prevented them from seeing the children.
No one has been charged. Police are investigating.
