NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla_ Authorities say the remains of a Maine woman, missing since March 14 have been located off a stretch of US Highway 19 in Florida.
52 year old JudtithTherianos of Alfred had left Maine in February to visit friends in Florida. A Pasco County Sheriff's office spokesman says her remains were located Thursday in the town of New Port Richey, but no cause or date of death have yet been established.
The Bangor Daily News is reporting that Therianos' family had been told that Therianos was last seen in the company of a man named "Charlie" and that she was observed as having a black eye.
Authorities are investigating.
