PORTLAND, Maine – Portland Police are investigating what they say is a suspicious death. The body of a 54 year old man was found in the early Sunday morning hours in front of 19 Temple Street.
Police are withholding the man's name, pending notification of next of kin.
According to Lt. Robert Martin, the body has been taken to the Office of the State Medical Examiner in Augusta for further investigation. An autopsy will be carried out on Sunday to determine the cause and manner of death.
