A tractor trailer carrying 15 million bees to pollinate blueberry fields in Washington County rolled over on I-95 in Clinton Thursday night.
The Maine State Police hasn't said what caused the crash around 7 p.m., but the driver was transported to a hospital with complaints of pain.
State officials said that along with police, commercial beekeepers from Downeast were called to the scene. They loaded the bees and their hives onto a replacement truck.
