PORTLAND, Maine (AP) _ The Boston Celtics are coming to Portland, Maine, for the first time in 19 years.
Boston's National Basketball Association franchise will play the Toronto Raptors in an exhibition game at Cross Insurance Arena in Maine's largest city on Oct. 15 at 7:30 p.m. TheSun Journal reports the Celtics were last here 19 years ago. That was also a pre-season game, against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Celtics' NBA Development League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws, also play in Portland.
Tickets for the game go on sale on Monday at 10 a.m.
