Lincoln County Waste and Recycling: Where does it all go?
Rising Tide Co-op in Damariscotta will host citizen journalists Mark Ward and Michael Uhl for an informal overview and discussion of where the waste generated in Lincoln County goes on Wednesday, September 8, 5:30-6:30. “Lincoln County Waste: Where does it all go?” will feature a discussion of the materials we throw away or recycle through our transfer stations, some of the inherent challenges these programs entail, and what can be done individually and collectively to improve on them.
