Welcome to the Maine Public Community Calendar Submission page! We welcome your postings for both VIRTUAL and LIVE events. Events should be submitted to the Community Calendar at least 3 – 5 days prior to occurring in order to be posted.
Please use the auto-fill drop-down menus, if applicable, to avoid creating duplicates. If your event is virtual, use “virtual” in your event title, along with the name of your event. “Virtual” will be your venue, along with the name of the city. Make sure you include the link to your virtual event (Zoom, YouTube, or other URL address) in the description.
If you notice incorrect venue or organization information in our system and wish to submit a change request, or if you have submitted an event and significant information has changed (e.g. event cancellation, change of date, change of venue) and needs to be edited, please email comments@mainepublic.org with the name and date of the event and the change that needs to occur.
Please only submit the event once. After clicking the submit button, the event is sent to a pending folder where it will be reviewed by Maine Public. It typically takes 1-2 business days for an event to be approved. Maine Public does not post events that are politically biased in nature.
