NewYear Gorham is a program of performing arts filled with something for everyone…. from families with young children through to our seniors. Music, storytelling, local performers, nationally known performers, magic, face painting, comedy, juggling, the NYG Café, and a grand finale that won’t disappoint. This year, kids can take part in three workshops to learn about the fun of being a performing artist: a juggling workshop, a mime workshop, and a new workshop offered by the Children’s Museum of Maine.

In addition to a fun-packed program at Shaw Gym and Gorham High School beginning at 3:00 PM on New Year’s Eve, families will enjoy free ice skating at the USM rink between 2 and 4 PM. And, new this year…. free skate rentals! It is important to note that USM now charges $1/hour for parking on the Gorham Campus. Also, NEW this year is the ability to pre-purchase your $5 admission through the Gorham Rec. Department’s website: https://gorhamme.myrec.com/info/
The pre-pay online amount will be available ONLY through December 27th. The admission at the door will be $7 (payable with cash, check or credit card), no charge for children under the age of two. Because of generous businesses and individuals, the admission continues to be affordable.
