42 COVID-19 Cases, 1 New Death Reported By Maine CDC

The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 has risen by 42 today in Maine.

The Maine Center for Disease Control says the total number of cases is 2055. Of those, 1,845 are lab confirmed and another 210 cases are probable.

CDC is reporting another death from COVID-19, a man in his sixties from York County, bringing the total number of deaths from the disease to 78.

Ed is a Maine native who spent his early childhood in Livermore Falls before moving to Farmington. He graduated from Mount Blue High School in 1970 before going to the University of Maine at Orono where he received his BA in speech in 1974 with a broadcast concentration. It was during that time that he first became involved with public broadcasting. He served as an intern for what was then called MPBN TV and also did volunteer work for MPBN Radio.
