Sep 10, 2019

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine -  Police in Maine say they're looking for two men in connection with a shooting that critically injured a man.

The shooting happened early Monday in Presque Isle. Many schools and businesses closed for the day. The school district said Tuesday it was open as scheduled for the day, and that additional safety measures were in place.

Police are considering what happened to be an "isolated incident'' and believe the victim and the men knew one another.  Police said the victim called 911 reporting he had been shot on Northern Road.

Police say they're looking for 31-year-old Jomo White, of Atlanta, and 44-year-old Jason Alexander, of Blaine, Maine. They said both should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police said anyone with information on the men's whereabouts should call them.
