Libraries are a target in the culture wars raging across the continent. Yet they exist to give everyone access to a wide variety of expressive content: even when those books, events, and materials may offend others. As upholders of the sometimes unpopular concept of intellectual freedom, can inclusive yet open library guidelines help remind us what democracy upholds?
