SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine - The city of South Portland has launched a legal salvo against a pipeline company's efforts to challenge a ban on the export of crude oil from the city's harbor.
The city is seeking to have a lawsuit filed the Portland Pipe Line Corporation - or PPL - dismissed. That suit challenges a city ordinance involving the South Portland to Montreal pipeline.
