The Yuletide Magic Marketplace is St. Paul's 89th annual Christmas Fair. Come experience the magic! Shoppers will enjoy delicious baked goods and candy, crafts, a classic country store, a jewelry and unique small treasures shop, beautiful Christmas decor, tableware and tree decorations, lovely hand knit and stitched items, and a silent auction featuring gift baskets, gift certificates from area merchants and many interesting services. New this year, for shoppers listening pleasure, Sounds of the Season musical entertainment will be provided. The Yuletide Cafe will be serving coffee and doughnuts, delicious soups, chowders, breads, other menu selections and yummy desserts. There will be a craft room for young shoppers to make a decoration to bring home. ALL proceeds from the fair go to area nonprofits (2024 donations were over $21,000). Portland--Come Light The World!Have you ever bought a goat from a vending machine? How about warm clothing for a child, groceries for a family, or job training for the underemployed?
This year Portland will have that chance. From November 20 to December 10 visitors at The Maine Mall can purchase essential items like from The Light the World Giving Machine to help those in need in Maine and throughout the world.
The nonprofits featured in the South Portland Giving Machines include: Catholic Charities; Furniture Friends; Jewish Community Alliance of Southern Maine; Ronald McDonald House Charities Maine and Through These Doors.

Why spend Christmas Day alone? Come join us at the American Legion Hall in Boothbay for a delicious meal of turkey, ham, beef, squash, turnip, potato, rolls, stuffing, and desserts.

The Book Sale features gently used books, CDs, DVDs and audio books - most priced at 50 cents to a dollar. The sale is held on the third Saturday of every month. All proceeds fund Cary Memorial Library scholarships awarded to Maranacook High School graduating seniors.
