Frederick Ndabaramiye is a Rwandan artist, speaker and author. A survivor of the 1994 Rwandan genocide, Frederick lost his hands 3 years later in an unprovoked machete attack as a result of post-genocide violence. He had to re-learn the most basic life skills. His faith, resilience and capacity for forgiveness are truly inspiring! Come and hear Frederick speak of faith, hope and forgiveness on Sunday afternoon, June 9th, at 2 PM at St Pius X Church, 492 Ocean Avenue, Portland. Further discussion and a reception will follow next door in the parish hall. Some of Frederick’s artwork will be displayed and his book will be available.
