This American Legion Post #36 Breakfast Buffet has been a tradition spanning many years now. Aside from a few minor unforeseen and unavoidable changes, most everything else remains the same. All who enter the Legion Hall doors on a Breakfast Buffet Sunday, will get a great meal for a fair price/donation, get to see old friends and/or family, or meet someone interesting for the first time. The menu items have satisfied many folks over the years, and I have no doubt that this year will be no different. So come and enjoy the Legion Buffet Breakfast this season, enjoy the food, enjoy the camaraderie, and learn how you (Yes, You) can play a key role in this year's breakfast season - or next year's season. There are a number of very important people who make these breakfasts a success each year, if you have any interest in becoming a volunteer or member of the breakfast crew - ask for the least important person in the mix (Christopher) when you arrive for breakfast. These breakfast buffets take place every other Sunday starting on April 2, 2025.

Owlbear’s Rest is usually an escape from adulting for grown-ups—except on Sunday mornings! Bring the whole crew for a game-filled adventure that’s perfect for adventurers of any age. Your little halflings can enjoy a warm steamer while you sip on a well-earned latte (oat milk available!).

This is the 16th season of Concerts at Norcross Point, a free concert series on the shores of Maranacook Lake. This year's schedule is as follows:

Parking is free but limited, public restrooms available, bring a flotation device or anchor your boat offshore and join the flotilla!

Join Paige Collins and Nikki Moser every Sunday starting on January 8th from 1pm-4pm!

Participants can bring current, knitting, crochet, sewing, embroidery, weaving, felting, all things fiber and needle projects and work in conversation with each other.

Special guests will introduce new techniques.

New to all this? We will provide supplies, beginning instruction and materials for you to try.

Seth hails from a musically gifted family and pairs his talents on acoustic guitar and harmonica to bring an exciting mix of covers and originals to the Last Run Pub. His folk-inspired style sets the perfect vibe for a great afternoon of aprés ski that everyone is sure to enjoy. All ages. Free admission. Come try out water polo with Southern Maine Water Polo! We are a club that welcomes all newcomers. The only requirement for the sport is that you are an experienced swimmer. We will help to teach the fundamentals of the sport throughout practice. Expect a fantastic workout while playing this fun sport! Make sure to check out our website for any changes to our schedule. We do not practice on holiday weekends.

Scottish Country Dance is the ballroom dance of Scotland, done in longwise sets of several couples. We meet weekly to learn and enjoy the dances. All dances are taught. We recommend soft soled, flexible shoes. Bring a water bottle. There is a beginner/preview session at 5 p.m. by request. Note, we do not dance during the month of December.

Wondering about your family lineage? Drop in for genealogy help with volunteer Tim Lynch in the library's breezeway. Tim can help you with most things related to genealogy, including: ancestry.com, family tree construction, record keeping, digital resources, local historical societies and more. Tim is at the Falmouth Memorial Library most Tuesday mornings from 9:30-10:30 AM. Feel free to call the library at 207-781-2351 ext. 140 if you would like to check to be sure before you come.
