In this class we will explore three different hand bound books that can be used for special photographs, travel journals or scrap books. On the first evening we will emboss frames in our book pages and bind them as a button hole book. The second night we will create a folded triptych photo frame, which can stand on display. Finally we will make a stab-binding with added thickness in the spine for scrapbook materials.

The Company We Keep is a psychological horror novella about Jake Warren, a father who accepts an uncanny job at Ortus Solutions, a company that hires him without an interview. The office seems perfect: smiling coworkers, looping hallways, glowing badges, and screens that feel like they’re watching back. Each day, Jake rises through “alignment” tiers while photos of his daughter begin to blur and vanish. When policies turn ritual and HR whispers, “You were always meant to be here,” he must choose between belonging and the self he came to save. Lean, eerie, and grounded in work-life anxiety, this is an October pick for fans of corporate-cult stories.
Looking for a fun, relaxing way to unwind? Join us at the Lounge for an 18+ night of coloring with kitties. We'll provide the materials or bring a favorite to work on from home. And feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks.
