GARLAND, Maine - Friends and relatives of a Garland woman and her two young children who were killed over the weekend are now trying to raise money for funeral expenses. Christina Sargent's live-in boyfriend, Keith Coleman, is being held in connection with their deaths.
Sargent's aunt, Shawna Hardison, of Lincolnville, says on top of their grief family members are trying to cope with another challenge.
"No one in the family - I mean, we're all raising as much as we can - but no one in the family has the money to pay completely for the funerals, and any help that is possible would be deeply appreciated," Hardison says.
Hardison says the family has started a Sargent Memorial Fund at Go Fund Me. com. The goal is $30,000.
