Maine Man Among 2 Set to Plead Guilty in Murder of NH Teen

DOVER, N.H. - Two men charged with killing a teenager during a robbery in June are set to plead guilty.

Foster's Daily Democrat reports that 19-year-old Zachary Pinette of Springvale, Maine, and 21-year-old Michael Tatum of Barrington, will plead guilty to second-degree murder for the stabbing death of 18-year-old Aaron Wilkinson of Madbury.

Police say Pinette, Tatum and 19-year-old Tristan Wolusky planned to steal money or drugs from Wilkinson. They say the three stabbed him to death with knives and a machete and dumped his body in Lebanon, Maine.

According to police, the trio took steps to avoid detection, including using glue to obscure their fingerprints and removing their shoes at Wilkinson's house to avoid leaving shoe prints.

They were initially charged with first- and second-degree murder. Wolusky is expected to stand trial this year.
