The Maine CDC has reported 403 new coronavirus cases on Saturday, as well as five additional deaths from the infection.

During the whole pandemic, the state has reported a total of 61,616 infections and 789 deaths.

Those increases come as Maine CDC Director Nirav Shah urges more younger Mainers to get vaccinated and clinics target their efforts more towards people who are on the fence about getting the shots.
