PORTLAND, Maine (AP) _ Maine's annual crow hunting season is ending for the year.
The season ended Saturday in all parts of the state. The summer season for crow hunting runs from Aug. 1 to Sept. 20 all over Maine, save for a few protected areas. An earlier season lasted from Feb. 3 to April 15 in far northern Maine and Jan. 18 to March 31 in the rest of the state.
The crow season has no daily bag limit in any part of the state. Crow hunting is legal in all 29 of Maine's wildlife management districts.
