CASCO, Maine - Police say a road rage incident caused a vehicle to crash into a river at the border of Casco and Naples, sending three people to the hospital for hypothermia treatment.
WMTW-TVreports the crash occurred off of Route 302 at about 1:30 p.m. Monday. Officials say two vehicles were banging into each other as they drove along the road. One vehicle went off the road and into the river.
The road was closed at the scene of the crash after the incident. Officials say the driver of the other vehicle was at the scene.
The local sheriff's department says the three people were taken to Bridgton Hospital.
