WESLEY, Maine — Authorities say a 19-year-old woman has died in a head-on crash with a logging truck in the Washington County town of Wesley.
The sheriff's office identified the victim of the Thursday morning crash as Kayla Robinson, of Trescott.
Investigators say Robinson was driving east on Route 9 toward Calais when she crossed the center line and hit the logging truck. Robinson was ejected from her vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The logging truck rolled over and spilled its load across the highway. The truck's driver and a passenger suffered minor injuries
The cause remains under investigation.
