LEWISTON, Maine - The Maine Health Access Foundation is reminding individuals who need health insurance that they can get coverage on the Affordable Care Act's online marketplace.
The Foundation's Morgan Hynd says since the presidential election there's been confusion about the future of the ACA.
"And we just want to assure people that you can absolutely still sign up for coverage on the marketplace," Hynd says. "And there are still enrollment assisters all over the state who are ready to help you sign up and get your family covered."
President-elect Donald Trump has said he plans to repeal the ACA. Some GOP Congressional leaders say they still want to repeal the law, but delay its effective date.
