The director of Birds Canada is warning that Halloween decorations are dangerous to birds.
Kelsey Butler said fake spider webs, usually made with cotton, cause harm to birds when they fly into them.
Fake spider webs don’t come apart as easily as real ones, making it easier for birds to become tangled.
Butler also said using alcohol or bleach to preserve pumpkins as décor can be toxic for wildlife.
