Warden Pleads Guilty To Misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct Charge

A Maine game warden will pay a $300 fine after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge after an off-duty incident at a Bangor concert last summer.

A judge in Bangor dismissed charges of assault and unlawful sexual touching that were leveled against Jeremy Judd. Judd's attorney Walt McKee says that alcohol was clearly a factor in the charges being filed.

“Importantly, right after this happened, Jeremy took important steps to address that issue and got himself in counseling, and this counseling will continue for the immediate future to make sure that he deals with that issue and that nothing like this ever happens again.”

The Maine Warden Service says Judd is currently serving a 2 month suspension without pay, following an investigation by the Maine State Office of Employee relations. In addition the Maine Criminal Justice Academy will also review the incident.

Ed is a Maine native who spent his early childhood in Livermore Falls before moving to Farmington.
