Senator Angus King

  USM's Muskie School and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is hosting a fall lecture series entitled: "Politics Then and Now, in Maine and the Nation." The speaker is Senator Angus King.

Angus King, Independent, was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2012. He earlier served two terms as Governor of Maine (1995-2003). In his career, King has worked in particular on issues related to economic development, technology, and the environment. He has regularly sought to frame bi-partisan solutions to policy problems.
