There’s a new lab focused on parenting at the University of Maine: the Parenting Relationships Research Lab. One of the areas of focus there is on understanding the different forms of co-parenting, which can include everything from divorced couples sharing parenting duties, to grandparents raising their grandchildren, to other blended family situations. We will learn about what makes these kinds of parenting relationships work or not work well, and their effects on children.

The two Maine judges who we had on 5/3/12 to talk divorce returned to answer more of your divorce questions and talk family law.

Host Keith Shortall was joined by :

Andrew 'Mark' Horton, who has been a judge since 1999, first on the Maine District Court and now on the Maine Superior Court, and

John David Kennedy, who was appointed as a Judge of the Maine District Court in 2002, and sits in the District Court in mid-coast Maine.

Together they have written a book, Do Your Divorce Right.
