What drives neurodegenerative disease? MDI Biological Laboratory Assistant Professor Emily Spaulding, Ph.D., The George Wojtech Endowed Chair in Neurobiology, will discuss how her lab leverages the advantages of a transparent roundworm, C. elegans, to better understand the contribution of disrupted cell organization in neurodegeneration. The Lab’s goal is to uncover new therapeutic targets to treat neurodegenerative disease.
