Organist Dr. Jacob Hofeling to Perform at Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Lewiston, Maine

LEWISTON, ME — Renowned organist Dr. Jacob Hofeling will present a special evening recital at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 7:00 PM.
Dr. Hofeling, a celebrated organist and educator, has performed across the United States and internationally. He holds degrees in Organ Performance and Music Theory from Arizona State University and the University of Kansas, and has studied abroad at the Hochschule für Künste in Bremen, Germany. Currently, he serves as an instructor at the BYU Organ Workshop and is known for his dynamic performances and scholarly approach to the organ repertoire. The Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, located at 122 Ash Street in Lewiston, is renowned for its stunning Gothic architecture and rich musical heritage. Its gallery organ, Opus 1588, is the largest church organ in Maine, featuring 4 manuals, 5 divisions, and 4,622 pipes—a fitting instrument for Dr. Hofeling’s program.
