Pownal Open Mic Night

Pownal Open Mic Night
Stumped about what to give your Mom and the sweet, caring nurturers in your life for Mother's Day? Well why not start with a fun night at Pownal Open Mic on May 10th! Music. Laughter. Talented performers. Just think of all the great moms that produced these brave souls who play their instruments, sing songs, recite poems and tell stories. Celebrate your mom and everyone else's, too!
Join us at 429 Hallowell Road, Pownal Center, just across from the big white church. The show begins at 6:30pm.
Bring your talent to share with us! Put your name on the sign-up sheet when you arrive to perform. You can go acoustic or plug into our sound system. Three tunes or roughly 10 minutes of stage time. All ages are welcome to perform.
You don't have to live in Pownal to attend and you don't even have to perform. We always need audience members!
The show is free. There will be a donation jar for those inclined to help offset costs and support our sponsors, the Pownal Recreation Committee.
Please be mindful that this is a Chem-Free event. No alcohol or other intoxicants are permitted on town property. There will be water and snacks on hand to keep your energy up for lots of laughing and clapping.
If you have questions about gear or set up, drop hosts Robin Hodsdon Morin and Michael F. Morin a line at: michaelfmorin@hotmail.com.
Mallet Hall is located across the road from the Congregational Church at Pownal Center. Easy parking is available on site. There is a small elevator available in the lobby of the building if you need a lift getting to the second floor.
Hope we see you there.
