RADIO--Freeport Players' WFCP HomeTime Radio Hour, XIX
Music! Comedy! Mystery! Fun! All-new show, RADIO XIX--WFCP Home Time Radio Hour presented by Freeport Players. Performances are at the Freeport Performing Arts Center, 30 Holbrook St, Freeport, on Friday and Saturday, December 5 and 6 at 7:30 pm, and Sunday, December 7 at 2 pm. It’s the 19th year of a unique performance, where the "live studio audience" attends an old-time “radio” show set in the 1920s-1970s. Original sketches, from Joe Tanner, PI to Tales from the Tomb, to Rocket Space Quest, and more. Great songs of the era, including Come Fly With Me, I Can See Clearly Now, All of Me and many more, with a live band onstage. Wacky products like Gas Station Coffee from Acme. And hilarious Sound Effects folks! But it’s only on stage, and not really on the radio. For tickets to this popular show, go to www.fcponline.org. Tickets will also be available at the door. Season sponsor is Kennebec Savings Bank.
