The Trust to Trail Joy Ride is the PERFECT way to celebrate summer in Maine while supporting the Bicycle Coalition of Maine!
This ride is full of JOY:
All proceeds support the Bicycle Coalition of Maine’s education and advocacy efforts. Our educational programs are offered for free statewide and our local, state, and advocacy efforts work for all Mainers to provide access to safer (and better) walking and biking in Maine. Participation on this ride ensures our work can continue! 18 miles of supported road riding will take you through quiet Kennebunkport roads and reward you with breathtaking views of Horseshoe Cove, Granite Point, and Goose Rocks Beach. At Timber Point you’ll enjoy a rest stop with delicious “shore-cuterie” (think: charcuterie, but at the beach!) and more incredible views. There you’ll have the option to explore the 1.4 mile trail that is part of the Rachel Carson Preserve. A finish line celebration with a catered box lunch from Mornings in Paris café and live music from the fabulous Ideal Maine Band! Post ride celebration with others who care about making Maine better and safe for biking and walking! We’ll have lunch, drinks, games, trail walks, and more at the beautiful Kennebunkport Conservation Trust. Want to support a rider and/ or join the festivities without riding? Not problem! We have a meal ticket only option for you in registration.

Brought to Paris Hill Maine by the Oxford Casino, we are happy to welcome the Barefoot Man.
The Barefoot Man, born George Nowak, is an entertainer and songwriter who performs primarily in the Cayman Islands, specifically on the largest island of Grand Cayman. He has composed about 2,000 songs and has recorded nearly 500 of them. The Barefoot Man has been commonly compared to other island performers and songwriters like Jimmy Buffett. Barefoot's songs are predominantly risqué parody, pun and double entendre put to reggae, calypso and sometimes country or pop beats. The Barefoot Man and Band was featured in the 1993 film, The Firm, starring actors Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. For this film, George Nowak wrote the song "Money, Money, Money" which appears on the film's soundtrack. The song was performed and recorded by the band that he performed with at the Holiday Inn on Grand Cayman. He currently lives in the village of Breakers on the island of Grand Cayman and still performs for tourists several nights per week.
Chicks with Sticks from Turner Maine will be opening up the evening and playing with the Barefoot Man.
Smokin' Dave's will have food for sale and their will be a cash bar available.
Other sponsors include Baker Newman & Noyes and the Oxford Federal Credit Union.
