Learn about oyster farming from some of Maine’s premier oyster growers on this tasty two-hour river cruise! Hear how oysters are cultivated, harvested, and taken to market, and discover why the watersheds where they are grown impact their flavor. Each guest will receive a ticket for a dozen oysters on the half-shell and a beverage of choice including selections from our beer and wine list. With scenic views, wildlife sightings, sit back and learn about Maine’s oyster industry, then sample some of the tastiest treats the Maine coast has to offer. Additional oysters can be purchased aboard for $3/each. Tickets for ages 6 & under include ½ dozen oysters and beverage.
Katie Matzell & Friends are thrilled to return to One Longfellow Square for their second annual tribute to the legendary Bonnie Raitt, Katie’s favorite artist of all time and greatest musical influence. You can expect all the hits, deep cuts, ballads, and blues that span Raitt’s illustrious, decades-long career, performed by a full band and horn section. Katie’s band is made up of some of Portland’s most inimitable talent.
Katie Matzell is a singer, songwriter, and performer from Portland, Maine who released her debut EP in 2018, followed by a series of singles and live recordings. MaineToday called her “fierce and dazzling”. “[Matzell’s vocals are] sweet, full and gorgeous” with a “richness to them that make the songs burst all the more.” The Deli Magazine said “Matzell’s voice, both effortless and simple, floats above a sea of washy keys and pocket grooves, calling comparisons to not only her influences of the past (Bonnie Raitt and Aretha Franklin), but to her contemporaries — Norah Jones and Emily King immediately come to mind.”

Tour-goers must be 21 or older. Infant-wearing is welcome - the tour path through our manufacturing plant is not suitable for young children or strollers.
Guests who are not drinking beer can purchase a Designated Driver ticket and will have a choice of NA beverage.
Dogs are not allowed on this manufacturing plant tour.
Come try out water polo with Southern Maine Water Polo! We are a club that welcomes all newcomers. The only requirement for the sport is that you are an experienced swimmer. We will help to teach the fundamentals of the sport throughout practice. Expect a fantastic workout while playing this fun sport! Make sure to check out our website for any changes to our schedule. We do not practice on holiday weekends.
Scottish Country Dance is the ballroom dance of Scotland, done in longwise sets of several couples. We meet weekly to learn and enjoy the dances. All dances are taught. We recommend soft soled, flexible shoes. Bring a water bottle. There is a beginner/preview session at 5 p.m. by request. Note, we do not dance during the month of December.
