We're excited to celebrate this holiday season by hosting food & gift evening markets every Thursday December 4th-18th from 4-7pm. We’ve got an incredible lineup of over two dozen vendors for each bazaar; skip the mall and shop small instead, enjoy a local beverage while you browse, and feel good about supporting your neighbors this season. You’ll find everything from gourmet charcuterie to handcrafted pottery, goodies for your furry friends to cozy crochet gear, and so much more!

Fork Food Lab is Maine’s only nonprofit food business incubator and shared manufacturing facility. With over 80 food entrepreneurs working side by side, Fork provides the community, equipment, and support needed to launch and grow innovative, sustainable food businesses that strengthen Maine’s local economy.

The planning for our next Gardens Aglow is well underway, and we can’t wait to see you there! Experience this year’s theme, Nature in Motion, and see the Gardens come alive after dark. See the landscape transformed into a glowing journey through scenes depicting the flora and fauna of Maine’s forests, shorelines, and meadows—and don’t miss some fun new surprises in this year’s display!

Blitzen's Yule Bar is back for 2025!

Holiday themed cocktails, festive nosh, cracking music, an everlasting yule log, and merriment await you! Take a break from the holiday madness, catch up with your friends and neighbors, and raise a glass to the season.

Thursdays: The Teach Series! Owlbear staff member Drew will lead a variety of games so that you will know how to play them with friends in the future!

Join us for this community favorite – free Trivia Nights hosted in the Opera House lobby. All are welcome to attend on December 18 at 6pm. Bring a team or join one, think with a drink, and make it a dinner date with a homemade flatbread pizza overlooking the harbor. Trivia Nights take place each month on the third Thursday.

Longest Night Healing Vigil. This service is a service of healing and contemplation. The purpose of Blue Christmas is to give folks a place to “not be ok” during the holiday season. It is geared toward providing hope while still acknowledging the unease many feel when the holidays come around. Please join us.

Tobin, this hauntingly unique production is full of immersive special effects, music, and the magic and joy of the Dickens holiday classic like you’ve never experienced it before. A haunting, heartwarming holiday must-see for the whole family!

This new Beginners Contra Dance series is a small, casual contra dance, suitable for newbies and experienced dancers alike! Dance or join in the open band with any instrument. $5 suggested, no charge for musicians. Chem-free event!
