The experience includes a welcome sample of Allagash White. Starting May 1st we are tasting: Floating Holiday - blonde with lemon and sea salt, Dark Lager with Cherries, Cellar's #11 - barrel blend with wine grapes, and World on a String - bourbon barrel aged amber inspired by an "Old Fashioned" cocktail. Final pour is a "choose your own adventure" sample between two rotating options.

Tour-goers must be 21 or older. Infant-wearing is welcome - the tour path through our manufacturing plant is not suitable for young children or strollers. Guests who are not drinking beer will have a choice of NA beverage. Dogs are not allowed on this manufacturing plant tour.

Periwinkle Needlepoint is hosting open Stitch Sessions every Thursday from 3-6pm. Any variety of slow stitching is encouraged (such as needlepoint, cross stitch, embroidery, etc).

Visit the cemetery's unique field of underground tombs, the oldest gravemarker from 1717, the final resting place of the famed Captains of the 1813 battle between the Boxer and the Enterprise, and the interesting carvings of Portland's first stone-cutter, Bartlett Adams. Tours include early gravestone art, important local historic figures, Portland's historic events, and the landscape of this National Historic Landmark, including segregated sections for Black people, Catholics, Quakers, and strangers. Wear comfortable walking shoes, as the ground is uneven once we leave the main pathway. Tours are held unless the weather is stormy.

LOCAL HAPPY HOUR TEAMS UP WITH MIDCOAST HABITAT FOR HUMANITY TO HOST CLIMATE & GREEN BUILDING EVENT ON SEPTEMBER 18

On September 18, midcoast residents Amanda Dwelley and Jess Scott, organizers of a bi-monthly “Midcoast Climate, Energy and Green Building Happy Hour”, are teaming up with Midcoast Habitat for Humanity to host a happy hour at the Habitat ReStore in Rockport! Habitat works hard to create sustainable and affordable housing opportunities in our region, and this happy hour will feature information about their current projects and volunteer opportunities.

**Attendance is free, food and beverages will be available.**

Calling all small business owners and entrepreneurs: the Second Annual Paper City Pitch Contest is now accepting applications.

This is a fun way to talk about your hopes and dreams for YOUR business. Stand up on stage, share your ideas and how you plan to get there. Be the best and you can win a cash prizes!

Who: Westbrook Businesses- Must have a Westbrook address and be locally owned (no franchises)

Must have a Westbrook Address or do business in Westbrook
Must be Early Pre-launch (Under 250K in Revenue)
What: Give us a pitch- tell us who you are and how you want to grow and expand.

Other Criteria:

Why did you choose Westbrook for your business?
Community – How does your business benefit Westbrook?
Innovation/Creativity – What is innovative about your business or business model / OR / How does your business contribute to the creative economy?
Feasibility – How likely will your business be around in five years?
Growth – Will your business be profitable? Will your business be able to hire?
Presentation – Is your communication clear with clarity of concept, compelling story persuasiveness and a charismatic entrepreneur or team?
Winner- Winner: The top scoring business based on the rubric will be declared the winner.

Business pitches will be evaluated by a group of judges from the Westbrook community.
