Auburn woman pleads guilty in federal court for taking part in the January 6 insurrection

An Auburn woman pleaded guilty in federal court Thursday for taking part in the January 6 insurrection.

Kymberly Sylvester pleaded guilty to two counts of violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds. Sylvester, who is a registered nurse, was identified by authorities using social media posts, CCTV footage, and cellular data records.

She is to be sentenced on June 13.
