Barber Foods of Portland is recalling more than 1.7 million pounds of frozen chicken products.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service on Monday announced the recall, which affects stuffed chicken products like Chicken Kiev and Chicken Cordon Bleu.

According to a government press release the affected products bear the establishment number "P-276" inside the USDA mark of inspection, and were produced between February 17 and May 20, 2015. Recalled packages have a use by/sell by date of April 28, 2016, May 20, 2016, or July 21, 2016, and a Lot Code number 0950292102, 0950512101, or 0951132202.

The recall was decided on after USDA officials learned of a cluster of salmonella cases in the Midwest last month, cases which were traced back to frozen raw stuffed chicken products from Barber Foods.

A complete list of the recalled products is posted on the USDA's website

In 2011, Barber Foods was acquired by Advanced Pierre Foods of Cincinnati, Ohio.
