AUGUSTA, Maine - A slow-moving Nor'easter is bringing a mix of snow, sleet and rain to Maine.
The day started with freezing rain for much of southern Maine to be followed by drenching rain. Inland areas will see mostly snow, and utilities were on alert for power outages.
The mountains could see as much as a foot of snow.
The National Weather Service posted a winter storm warning Tuesday for northern and western areas of the state. Forecasters also warned of potential flooding and strong winds.
