Man Charged in Pedestrian Fatality, Alcohol a Factor

FARMINGTON, Maine (AP) _ Police have charged a Maine man with aggravated drunken driving in the fatal hit-and-run of a pedestrian in Farmington.

The Portland Press Herald reports that 25-year-old Tommy Clark of Industry is charged with a felony in the death of a woman early Friday morning on Wilton Road near Franklin Memorial Hospital.

Farmington police have tentatively identified the woman as Taylor Gaboury of Wilton, whose parents reported her missing Friday night. Police say the victim was not carrying a cell phone or identification, and was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday.

Police say they arrested Clark at a nearby motel, based on information from witnesses.

Clark is being held on $75,000 bail. It was not immediately known if he has a lawyer.
