Lelia DeAndrade, left, and Jennifer Crittenden, with the ENCorps program.

Older adults have the time - and often the desire - to become leaders in their communities.  A program called ENCorps helps them with leadership skills.  Jennifer Crittenden is ENCorps's program manager, and Lelia DeAndrade leads the staff. The two wrote about the program in the latest Maine Policy Review, and they recently sat down with MPBN's Irwin Gratz to talk about it.  We hear from Jennifer Crittenden first.

Lelia DeAndrade is director of grant-making services at the Maine Community Foundation. Jennifer Crittenden is assistant director at the University of Maine Center on Aging. They wrote about ENCorps in the latest Maine Policy Review.
