Results: Maine High School Basketball Championship

AUGUSTA, Maine _ Another Maine Principals' Association Invitational High School Basketball Tournament has wrapped up, this time with schools broken into five classes: AA, A, B, C and D. 

On the final game of the tournament Saturday night, the Portland High School Bulldogs just edged out the South Portland Red Riots in a very close and rowdy game, that went to double overtime, with Portland emerging the victors, 52-50. 

The first Girls AA title went to Gorham High School, with their defeat of Edward Little 46-36.

Another squeaker of the tournament was the final Class A girls' game with York just beating out Lawrence by one point, 58-57. Games can be watched on demand here
