Men Found Dead In Far Northern Maine Were Victims Of Double Homicide, Police Say

State Police say two men found dead inside a pickup truck in the northern Maine community of Castle Hill were the victims of a double homicide.Maine Public Safety Department spokesman Steve McCausland says police are still investigating the deaths. He says troopers were called to the scene just after midnight.

"At this point there have been no arrests," McCausland says. "We have a whole team of investigators there investigating this, working with the Medical Examiner's Office and the Attorney General's Office."

The identities of the men haven't yet been released, and the bodies will be autopsied, he says.

McCausland says people who might have heard anything in the area should contact police. The Aroostook County Sheriff's Office and the Maine Warden Service are working with State Police on the investigation.

McCausland says the investigation is in its early stages, and a motive for the killings has not been established.
