Dozens of firefighters are currently battling a three-alarm fire on Custom House Wharf in Portland near Commercial Street.
The fire broke out around 6 p.m., sending smoke and flames into the air. The historic wharf is home to restaurants and warehouses.
People are being asked to avoid the surrounding area while emergency crews respond.
