Maine Calling Book Club: "Carrie" by Stephen King


This month the Maine Calling book club discusses Stephen King's 'Carrie.'

Guests:  Kate Flora, author and former DA. She is the author of 14 mystery and true crime books including 'Finding Amy,' a 2007 Edgar nominee co-written with a Portland, Maine deputy police chief.
  Bill Lundgren,  writer and blogger, also a bookseller at Longfellow Books in Portland,
 Alex Irvine -  has written more than thirty books, ranging from supernatural histories (The Narrows and A Scattering of Jades) to movie novelizations (Pacific Rim, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) and other media-related titles (Sleepy Hollow, Supernatural, Transformers, Iron Man). His most recent novel is Buyout, a near-future noir about the surveillance state and capital punishment.

Jennifer walked into her college radio station as a 17-year-old freshman and never looked back.
