Summerfest will be back this year on Saturday, July 27th from 9 to 2. The First Congregational Church’s annual fair will be held on the Wiscasset common as it has been for over 35 years.

Highlights of the event include the giant yard sale, knit and craft table, jewelry table, and treasures. Other favorites include the dog parade, live music from local performers, and favorite outdoor foods from the On-common Café.

Proceeds of the fair are donated to local outreach organizations which, in 2023, included New Hope for Women, Westport Island Helping Hands, Tedford Housing, Midcoast Humane, Lincoln County Dental, Healthy Kids, Feed Our scholars, Mobius, and Habitat for Humanity.
