In this session we will explore the importance of discussing death and the benefits it offers. We will review the creation of an End-of-Life Plan, the importance of legacy work, obituary writing, hospice & palliative care, End of life Doulas, MAID (medical aid in dying), as well as funeral and body disposition options. (There are more than you think!)

Founder of Die Well Death Education, Leona Oceania is a trained End-of-Life Doula, Home Funeral Guide, a Life Legacy Facilitator, and Death Educator. She serves on the board of the Funeral Consumers Alliance of Maine, is the facilitator of several Death Education Series and Death Cafés, and volunteers with Maine Death with Dignity.
