Step into a magical forest full of music, mischief, and a little bit of danger! The Osher Opera Theatre brings to life Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel—a beloved opera based on the classic fairy tale.
With colorful characters, a sweeping score, and moments both funny and heartfelt, this opera tells the story of two siblings who get lost in the woods and find themselves in the clutches of a mysterious witch. Will they find their way home? Or become part of her next meal?

Internationally known singer and pianist, Eeppi Ursin, will perform her "Epic Christmas" Concert on November 30 at 3 p.m. at the Federated Church of Thomaston, 8 Hyler Street, Thomaston. Eeppi will perform original Christmas songs and all-time Christmas favorites in both English and Finnish. Eeppi’s new Christmas songs for 2025 explore themes of holiday nostalgia, excitement, and the quiet loneliness and longing the season can sometimes bring.

For new performers, this is a relaxed and fun opportunity to become comfortable performing live in front of an audience.
